Design is my craft.

I am a design manager who still designs every day. I love the craft and will reach for a picture when words are not enough.

Delivery Solutions

Product Design Director: 2022 – Present

At Delivery Solutions, I shape the UX for products powering complex logistics operations. I tackle the challenge of transforming configurable delivery workflows into experiences that feel simple and seamless for users.

I work closely with my team to keep us aligned, inspired, and focused. I’m hands-on daily, designing in Figma, testing ideas, and critiquing work to ensure the vision is executed flawlessly.

Flatiron School
Product Design Director: 2020 – 2022

Flatiron School was all about creating tools that made learning accessible and impactful. I had the chance to be deeply involved at every level—designing, coding, testing, and collaborating with engineers to ship highly polished products. My hybrid skillset meant I could design something in Figma and then dive into the codebase to ensure it translated perfectly for users.

Working in a small team allowed me to stay close to the work while helping the product grow. I thrived on understanding how students and educators used our tools, making data-driven design decisions, and helping shape an edtech experience that truly mattered.

Zaarly
Product Design Director: 2012 – 2020

Zaarly was my career home for 8.5 years, and it’s where I grew from an individual contributor to leading the design team. As a designer-turned-leader, I helped evolve our marketplace platform from startup chaos to a well-oiled machine with strong design systems and processes.

This role taught me how to scale not just products, but also teams. I mentored designers, collaborated with leadership on strategy, and contributed to the bigger picture while still staying hands-on with the work. Zaarly gave me the chance to grow alongside the product, and it’s where I learned how much I love the balance of design, leadership, and product strategy.

projekt202
Creative Director: 2010 – 2012

At projekt202, I led design teams across multiple client engagements, shaping user experiences for brands like Hotels.com, Expedia, and Pier1 Imports. Each project had unique challenges, from refining travel booking workflows to optimizing store pickup 10 years before that was a thing.

What I loved most was the variety—every industry, every product had its own set of opportunities. This role deepened my ability to drive design at scale while still staying engaged in the craft, mentoring designers, and making sure our work had real impact.

Dell/EMC
User Experience Designer: 2007 – 2010

At EMC Consulting (aq. Dell), I designed enterprise SaaS applications across industries like pharmaceutical, construction, banking, security, travel, and real estate.

This role sharpened my ability to design for complexity and scale. I worked closely with developers, product teams, and clients to ensure our solutions weren’t just innovative but also practical and implementation-ready.
